If you have an artistic talent we encourage you to share with us.  Just remember we do not tolerate art theft. Nothing nice about stealing someone's work. Here are some guidelines to the artwork displayed on this site and posting your own.  

1. Samurai Princess is released under the creative commons as
Attribution: You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work)
Non-Commercial: You may not use this work for commercial purposes.
 
For those who don't like lawish mumbo jumbo, you can make things like fan-art and repost images associated with the comic as long as you link back to the site and/or credit us for our hand in character, art and/or story. (meaning you can't claim the characters or story as your own) 
You are not allowed to make monetary profit off the art work or comic pages of Samurai Princess!

2. If you release personal work on the forums you have rights to file under creative commons and decide the distribution. Watermarking, signatures and other protection is also encouraged. Remember to protect your intellectual property.

3. If we find you've been posting stolen art from other (be they the site, fellow forum member or friend) or claiming work that isn't your own there will be warnings, probation and possible ban.

4. You don't need to credit for your avatars (and signatures), we will not be that anal. lol

5.  This has been stated before in other rules but please no posting any artwork that would go above a PG-13 rating. We want to be a work safe/school safe site. Thanks!

OK, this is pretty basic stuff that's probably the same as any other message board you're ever likely to visit. There's a more detailed set of rules shown when you first make an account, but in case you're not sure about something, here they are again:

1. Be respectful to any and all other members. Don't insult or troll (post something provocative to) someone... for any reason.
2. Do not post or provide links relating to illegal or copyrighted content such as but not limited to: ROMs, mp3s, warez, drugs, pornographic material, extreme violence or material containing animal cruelty.
3. Respect the privacy of other members. Keep PMs private, and don't share other members' personal information under any circumstances.
4. Don't try hacking the forums or site, not that anyone would actually want to in the first place. Similarly, do not attempt to impersonate other members for any reason. Anybody found doing either of these will be instantly banned.
5. Spam (posting something completely off-topic in the current thread or solely to advertise) will not be tolerated.
6. Paisley print items are not allowed in pattern restricted areas.

Repeat offenders may be subject to a temporary suspension or, in worst-case scenarios, a permanent ban. The moderation staff reserve the right to change these rules at any time, and all moderation decisions are final.
